Spreads held steady across FX and gold all week, even as US PCE data released Friday softened near-term Fed rate expectations and gold held above $4,000. The week's standout movement came from Swissquote's NAS100, which swung from 2.45 pts on Wednesday to 3.2 pts on Thursday as Micron surged 15% on AI demand. FOREX.com dropped its GBP/USD spread to 0.1 pips on Thursday, the tightest GBP/USD reading of the week from any broker.

Market Context
